Leading blockchain for companies, DigitalBits (XDB), is now accepted as payment by AS Roma, a prestigious soccer team in Italy. Five of the club’s key retail locations—Via del Corso, Piazza Colonna, Ottaviano, Porta di Rome, and Fan zone at Stadio Olimpico—will accept payments.

According to a press statement , users will be able to use DigitalBits to buy products with the AS Roma logo.

By scanning a QR code, users may make payments using the AstraX mobile wallet. Purchases are then completed in a matter of seconds, and users receive cash-back through XDB. The DigitalBits blockchain processes them, and Coinbar pay processing offers extra assistance.

“This is a big step for the DigitalBits community as we look to drive the adoption of crypto and Web3,” said Daniele Mensi, Managing Director at DigitalBits Foundation. “As one of the premier football clubs in the world with millions of fans worldwide, it is the perfect next step in this product-focused partnership to provide a consumer-friendly onboarding experience to the next generation of web3 users.”
