Developers who are creating cutting-edge Web3 financial projects on the XRPL now have access to a significant announcement from Ripple. Applications for XRPL Grants (Wave 6) are currently being accepted through June 18, 2023, according to the specifics.

On the XRP Ledger (XRPL), this forthcoming wave is focused on accepting project proposals that make use of web3 technologies for financial applications. From April 25 through June 18 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, the application submission window will be open.

The application assessment procedure is divided into stages, and candidates may expect to hear about the progress of their projects six to eight weeks after submitting their application. Whether or not their application has been chosen to move on to the next phase of the review process will be disclosed in this notification.

The Ripple team also highlighted a few of the major aspects of XRPL on the open call. The XRP Ledger (XRPL) can handle up to 1,500 transactions per second and finish transactions in 3 to 5 seconds while using very little energy. XRPL is prepared to handle large-scale use cases, having processed over 2.1 billion transactions since 2012 without any errors or security breaches.

Furthermore, according to the XRPL team, the award programme is looking for initiatives that tackle financial injustices and offer creative ways to use the XRP ledger. Projects like financial equity, regenerative finance, data and indexing, payments, e-commerce, tokenization, developer tools, oracles, insurance, etc. might all receive investment.
